Privacy Policy
This privacy policy applies to the Cleaner for WhatsApp app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Prime Focus Studio (hereby referred to as "Service Provider"). This service is intended for use "AS IS".
The Application is a storage cleaning and media management tool that helps you review and delete media files that WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business have already saved on your own device.
Information Collection and Use
The Application does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information.
The Application has no internet permission. It cannot connect to any server, and no information of any kind leaves your device through the Application. Specifically, the Application does NOT collect:
- Your name, email address, phone number, or any account information
- Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address)
- Your device's location, precise or approximate
- Your contacts, call logs, or SMS messages
- Your WhatsApp chats, messages, calls, or backups
- Advertising identifiers or any other unique tracking identifier
- Analytics, usage statistics, crash reports, or behavioural data
All scanning, analysis, previewing, and deletion of media files happens entirely on your device, offline.
Permissions the Application Requests
- Storage / Folder Access: To show you which files are occupying space and to let you delete the ones you choose, the Application asks you to grant access to the WhatsApp and/or WhatsApp Business media folder on your device using the Android system folder picker. This access is used only to list, preview, save, and delete files at your request. The contents of these files are never read for any other purpose, never copied elsewhere, and never uploaded. On Android 10 and older, the Application uses the legacy storage permissions for the same purpose.
- Notifications: Used only to notify you on your own device when a status you chose to save has finished downloading. No notification content is sent anywhere.
- App Presence Check: The Application checks whether WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business are installed so it can show the correct sections and folder instructions. It cannot see any other app on your device and does not read any data from WhatsApp itself.
You may deny or revoke any of these permissions at any time in your device settings. Without folder access, the Application cannot scan or clean, but nothing else changes.
Data Stored on Your Device
The Application saves a small amount of information locally on your device so it can work between sessions:
- Your theme preference (light, dark, or system) and your preferred media view layout
- The folder locations you granted access to, so you do not have to grant them again on every launch
- A temporary cache of scan results, so the Application opens faster
This information stays in the Application's own private storage on your device. It is not readable by other apps, is not backed up to any server by the Application, and is permanently erased when you clear the app's data or uninstall the Application.
Your Files Remain Yours
Files you delete using the Application are deleted permanently from your device storage. The Application does not keep hidden copies, does not move your files to any cloud, and cannot recover files after deletion. Please review your selection before deleting.
Statuses you choose to save are copied only into a folder on your own device, and are shared only when you personally tap Share and pick an app.
Third-Party Access
The Application does not include any advertising network, analytics library, or tracking software. No third-party service receives any data from the Application.
The Application is distributed through Google Play. Google may independently collect information related to app installation, updates, and Play Store crash reporting under its own policies. This is a function of the Android operating system and Google Play, not of the Application. You can review Google's privacy practices at https://policies.google.com/privacy
The Service Provider may disclose information it holds:
- as required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
- when they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.
Because the Application collects nothing, the Service Provider holds no information about you unless you voluntarily contact them by email as described below.
Contacting Support and Sending Feedback
If you choose to use the "Send Feedback" or "Rate App" option inside the Application, the Application opens your own email app with a pre-filled draft message. That draft includes the feedback category you selected, the text you wrote, and basic technical details that help diagnose issues: the Application version, your device manufacturer and model, and your Android version.
Nothing is sent automatically. The email is sent only if you press send in your own email app, and it is sent through your own email account. If you do send it, the Service Provider will receive your email address and the contents of that message, and will use it solely to answer you and to fix or improve the Application.
Opt-Out Rights
You can stop all use of the Application and remove everything it stores by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network. You may also revoke folder access at any time from within the Application's settings or from your device's app settings.
Data Retention Policy
The Application stores its preferences and cache only on your device, and they are removed when you clear the app's data or uninstall the Application. If you have emailed the Service Provider and would like your correspondence deleted, please contact them at eskillcenter7@gmail.com and they will respond in a reasonable time.
Children
The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.
The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case the Service Provider discovers that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their records. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Service Provider (eskillcenter7@gmail.com) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions.
Security
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. Because the Application keeps all data on your device and transmits nothing, your files and preferences are protected by your device's own security and by Android's private app storage sandbox. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect any information it processes and maintains, such as support emails you choose to send.

"WhatsApp" and "WhatsApp Business" are registered trademarks of WhatsApp LLC. Please obtain permission from the content owner before downloading, reposting, or sharing any photos or videos from statuses.
Changes
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us.
